ABOUT DEPARTMENT
Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines - offering opportunities to specialize in areas such as Manufacturing, Robotics, Automotive engineering, Workshop Practice, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, and more. Mechanical engineers design, develop, build, and test. They deal with anything that moves, from components to machines to the human body. The work of mechanical engineers plays a crucial role in shaping the technology and infrastructure that drive our modern world.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers courses to train students in the art of servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting aspects in real world applications. Moreover, the laboratories and the workshop are fully equipped with advanced equipment and machines. The department has well-qualified, experienced as well as young motivated faculty members and supporting staffs to train the manpower according to the need of modular pattern. The relationship is warm and friendly.
The department comprises of following Labs & Sections.
